Can be painted by selecting it with the "Select" tool and tapping "Paint". Then, choosing a colour from the palette. Painting blocks can also be repainted by selecting it with the "Select" tool and tapping "Repaint". This paints the painting block with the previously used colour.
The painting block is mostly used for aesthetic designs, typically in sandbox mode.
